Your trust is part of the house. This notice explains, in plain language, what the Hushywear assistant processes when you shop with it inside ChatGPT — and the choices you keep.
01Who we are
Hushywear is an Egyptian women’s fashion house. The Hushywear assistant is a shopping app you use inside ChatGPT to browse our collection, find your size, and reach checkout. This policy explains what the assistant collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It covers the assistant and this website; purchases you complete on our online store are also governed by the store’s own privacy notice.
02Information we process
What you tell the assistant
- Conversation content — the requests, preferences, and questions you type so the assistant can answer (for example “show me linen sets” or a returns question).
- Sizing details — measurements such as height, weight, bust, waist or hips that you choose to share so the assistant can recommend a size. You decide whether to provide these; they are used to compute a recommendation and are not used to identify you.
Order and checkout information
When you choose to buy, the assistant sends you to our live online store to complete checkout. Any name, address, contact and payment or cash-on-delivery details are collected and processed by the store and its payment and delivery providers, not stored by the assistant.
Technical information
- Service data — limited technical logs (such as timestamps and error information) needed to operate, secure and debug the service.
- Website — this site loads web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those fonts. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
03How we use it
- To understand your request and respond with relevant products, styling and sizing guidance.
- To recommend a size from the measurements you provide.
- To take you to the correct product and checkout on our store.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the assistant.
- To meet legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversations or measurements for third-party advertising.
04Services we rely on
The assistant works alongside a small number of trusted providers that process data on our behalf or as part of delivering the service:
- OpenAI / ChatGPT — hosts the chat experience through which you reach the assistant; your messages pass through ChatGPT under OpenAI’s terms and privacy policy.
- Shopify — powers our product catalogue, store and checkout.
- Vercel — hosts the assistant’s server and this website.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces on this website.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms. We share only what is needed for these services to function.
05Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Conversation and sizing details are processed to answer you in the moment and are not retained to build a long-term profile of you. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. Order records held by our store are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes.
06Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or ask us to limit how we use it. You can also simply decline to share measurements or other details — the assistant will still help with everything else. To make a request, contact us at info@hushywear.com.
07International transfers
Some of the providers above operate servers outside Egypt. Where information is transferred internationally, it remains protected by the providers’ safeguards and the purposes described here.
08Children
The assistant and store are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
09Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including keeping store and provider credentials on the server and never exposing them in the chat. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address issues promptly.
10Changes
We may update this policy as the assistant evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be reflected here.
